Visual Security was founded in Richmond, California, by LaMarr M. Shabazz in 1998. Mr. Shabazz identified the need to provide carefully selected, highly trained security officers who would in turn provide the highest quality service to secure the personnel, property, and premises of Visual Security clients. Visual Security grew at a gradual pace and within (4) four years of its founding, has become the leading independently owned private security firm in the Bay Area. Visual Security has grown to become widely recognized as a leader and innovator within the security service industry.

Visual Security’s reputation for quality is based solidly on our performance at the point of service, but this commitment to excellence can be traced directly back to our selection and training procedures. Out of (60) sixty applicants seeking employment as Visual Security officers, only one will wear a Visual Security uniform. Our hiring process is recognized as the most stringent in the industry.
